Release updates
What was added, improved and fixed in BoardMark on each day it was released to production, newest first, since launch on 26 September 2026.
Let members run sprints, and open a project to the whole company
New
- Scrum projects can choose who runs sprints: project admins only (as before) or every member — members then create, start and complete sprints from the Backlog. Set it in Project settings.
- Company-wide access: let everyone in the company into a project as a member or viewer without adding people one by one; a role you give someone directly still wins. Set it in Members & access or when you create a project.
Improved
- The Kanban board header shows WIP limits by column name (for example In Progress 5) instead of technical text.
Versions: auth 1.0.20 · billing 1.0.15 · core 1.0.28 · docgen 1.0.7 · files 1.0.12 · mcp 1.0.24 · notify 1.0.22 · site 1.0.53 · tenant 1.0.20 · web 1.0.52
Copy an issue key in one click, and buttons that look like buttons
New
- Click the issue key in the drawer header (for example BMS-123) to copy it, ready to paste into a chat or hand to an AI agent.
Improved
- Every action in the app now looks like a button: no more underlined text standing in for one, the back and Change picture actions are real buttons, and the profile-picture tabs are centred.
Versions: auth 1.0.20 · billing 1.0.15 · core 1.0.27 · docgen 1.0.7 · files 1.0.12 · mcp 1.0.23 · notify 1.0.22 · site 1.0.52 · tenant 1.0.20 · web 1.0.51
Workflow templates, Roadmap & Goals, profile pictures and roles for AI agents
New
- Workflow templates when you create a project: Scrum, Kanban and Delivery pipeline as before, plus Sales & Billing, Service desk, Budget planning and Roadmap & Goals.
- Custom fields on issues — text, number, money, date, person, select, link and formula — shown on cards and in the list view, with saved filters per project. Adding fields beyond a template is part of Premium.
- Sales & Billing: follow each deal from quotation to signed contract and paid installments, with reminders when a bill is due or late.
- Roadmap & Goals with a Timeline view: drag a bar to change its dates, and see each goal's progress rolled up from the work linked to it.
- Link issues across projects of the same company, and link work to the release that delivers it.
- Profile pictures: build a cartoon, make one from a photo on your device, upload a picture, or use the one from a linked Google or LINE account.
- Delete a file attached by mistake — the person who uploaded it or a company admin.
- Roles for AI agents: mark which columns belong to Developer, QA, DevOps or BA and give an agent's token a role — an agent that moves work outside its role gets a warning, and the issue history shows it.
- Text colour and highlighter in issue descriptions and documents.
- This Release updates page, and a version number on every part of the service.
- Change an individual account to a company account in Company admin → Members to invite your team — projects, issues, plan and billing history stay (this is one way).
Improved
- Invoices, receipts and tax invoices have a new look and come in Thai and English; downloads follow the language of the app.
- AI agents can use templates, custom fields, cross-project links and roadmap goals through MCP.
- Terms of Service and Privacy Policy updated to cover every live feature, effective 8 October 2026 (the previous versions remain available).
- Before a 3rd seat, a 3rd invitation or a 3rd project moves a company from Free to Pro, you are asked first, with the monthly cost before and after — Cancel changes nothing.
- Individual accounts now say on the Members tab why they cannot invite, and the plan card shows one person; company accounts see how many invitations are waiting for sign-up.
Fixed
- The issue drawer stuck half-open after a reload on a large board.
- The Settings page overflowing sideways on narrow phone screens.
- Signing up with Google or Microsoft after choosing “Juristic” created an individual account — you now get the juristic company with the name you typed (choose the account type before pressing the button).

Two-step sign-in, device notifications and webhooks
New
- Two-step sign-in with an authenticator app, on every plan: one-time recovery codes, and remember a device for 30 days.
- Notifications on your computer or phone through the browser, with a Send test button.
- Project webhooks to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Discord or your own system.
- Security alerts on LINE and as device notifications, next to the security emails.
- Lost your phone and your recovery codes? The BoardMark team can reset two-step sign-in after a company admin confirms it is you.
- Show or hide My work on the projects dashboard.
Improved
- The bell: opening an entry marks only that one as read, and Read all clears the rest.
- Opening BoardMark from LINE works inside LINE's own browser, and still asks for your second step.
Fixed
- Send test for device notifications shows a notification every time, and says what went wrong when it cannot.
Versions: auth 1.0.15 · core 1.0.24 · notify 1.0.18 · site 1.0.38
Easier boards, from your feedback
Improved
- Click an issue title to rename it (Enter saves, Esc cancels, and you can undo); extra fields and History fold away in the issue panel.
- Filters open in one popover with chips you can remove one by one, and Hide summary gives the board more room.
- Column names stay in view while you scroll, and a board with more than 50 cards switches to the compact view by itself.
- The dock takes you back to the last board you opened and its buttons say what they open; the logo opens the projects dashboard.
- Higher text contrast across the app for easier reading.
More AI clients and inline pictures from agents
New
- Desktop apps (such as Claude Desktop and Codex), Grok Build and Antigravity in the AI client picker on the Agent & MCP page, each with its own setup steps.
Improved
- AI agents put pictures into descriptions and comments as attached images that show inline.
- Company admins can open the withholding tax certificate they sent, and the PromptPay QR code is bigger.
Versions: billing 1.0.13 · mcp 1.0.20
People list for AI agents and a PromptPay fix
New
- AI agents can see who can open a project, with names and roles, and @mention the right person.
Fixed
- Show PromptPay QR shows the QR code instead of reloading the page.
- The Kanban board header names the board type in plain words instead of a code.
Versions: core 1.0.23
Where an invoice amount comes from
New
- “How was this calculated?” on an invoice shows the seats day by day for the billing period (company admins).
Fixed
- Tall pictures fill the width and scroll in the picture viewer.
- Fixed saving invoice and receipt PDFs.
Versions: billing 1.0.12 · docgen 1.0.5
Releases, list view and AI agent audit
New
- Releases on paid plans, on any board type: group features into a release with a production date and see whether it is Not ready, Ready with risks or Ready. Off by default; switch it on in the project settings.
- Severity on issues, next to priority.
- List view on the board (Columns | List) with a status button to move an issue to the next or previous status — keys ] and [, with Undo.
- Premium: when you delete a project you can keep its history after it is removed for good.
- The audit log shows whether a change came from the web app, an AI agent or the system, with the AI client and tool; filter by source and export to JSON.
Fixed
- The issue History shows a save right away, without a reload.
- Two people saving in the same project at the same moment no longer get an error.
Versions: auth 1.0.13 · core 1.0.22 · files 1.0.9 · notify 1.0.15 · tenant 1.0.15
Large boards, safe mode and a bell that remembers
New
- The bell keeps your notifications for 30 days: they survive a reload, show only what concerns you, and include new projects and accepted invitations.
- A notification when someone gives you access to a project — by email, in the bell, and on LINE with Premium.
- Safe mode for slower devices (Settings → Performance), and a compact view for the board.
- Member dropdowns are searchable, and members are sorted by name everywhere.
- An “Only KEY” switch in the command palette (⌘K) limits the search to the project you are in.
- Click a picture in a description or comment to see it larger.
Improved
- Large boards stay smooth: finished work leaves Kanban and Delivery pipeline boards every Monday (older Done issues load 50 at a time), and Backlog planning sections start folded and load 50 rows at a time.
- Backlog planning gets a status filter and Load more, linked issues open with a click, and search finds issues by number.
Fixed
- A large board no longer turns blurry or leaves its header and filters stuck after loading.
- A Kanban or Delivery pipeline board is never left empty when older Done issues cannot be loaded.
- Create project opens with a clean form every time, and the next Jira import no longer gets stuck while starting.
Versions: auth 1.0.12 · tenant 1.0.14
Free, Pro and Premium plans, support cases and account controls
New
- Free, Pro and Premium plans. Premium adds LINE notifications and custom board columns; members can ask an admin to upgrade.
- Sign in with LINE after linking it in Settings.
- Support cases: ask the BoardMark team from the Help menu and follow the replies in the app, or use the public form without signing in.
- Move a project to another company with a one-time transfer key.
- Delete your account with an email code — it is kept for one year, so you can come back and restore it or start fresh.
- Company admins can delete a deleted project for good right away with Delete now.
- Click the project name in the board header to copy the project link.
Improved
- Fields in the issue panel save as soon as you change them, like Jira; the description keeps its own Save.
- Jira import: Premium can keep the same columns as Jira, Free and Pro use the board type's columns, and Backlog always comes first; other company admins see in the bell when an import starts and finishes.
- Completed sprints list their issues, and a running sprint past its end date shows how many days it is overdue.
- Create a company from Settings → Companies instead of the account menu.
- Moving an issue to Test Rejected asks for the reason in a comment.
- The admin console shows each member's teams and projects, and each team's projects.
- Search also finds an issue by its key, exact match first.
- Project badges show up to 3 characters, and your last sign-in method cannot be disconnected.
- Faster responses across the service.
Fixed
- Jira import keeps done issues in their completed sprints and keeps every workflow status, also when the Jira board cannot be read.
- Discarding an import on a Delivery pipeline project resets the board completely.
- Project settings switches are kept when someone else saves an unrelated change.
Versions: billing 1.0.11 · docgen 1.0.4 · files 1.0.8 · tenant 1.0.13
Priority, comment editing, watch and @mentions
New
- Issue priority — Highest, High, Medium, Low and Lowest, like Jira — on cards, in filters and in sorting.
- Edit or delete your comments; an edited comment says so and keeps its edit history.
- Who created and last changed each item (ⓘ), the issue History in the issue panel, and an audit log for company admins.
- Watch issues, @mention people in comments, and choose which notification emails you get.
- Delete a project or your company, and restore it within 30 days.
Improved
- Leaving an issue with unsaved edits asks first, in the app's own dialog.
Import from Jira, hosting in Thailand and a guide for AI agents
New
- Import from Jira while you create a project — issues, comments and attachments — with a live clock and the time left.
- An optional On Hold column on Kanban and Delivery pipeline boards.
- Free-seat coupons: enter a code when you sign up or in the admin console.
- Private plan: a separate system for one company — contact us.
- A guide for AI agents (agents.md) you can send to any AI assistant, and “Ask your AI about BoardMark” on the home page.
- Default workflow: what each status means and who moves an issue there — rules people and AI agents follow, which your company and projects can change.
Improved
- BoardMark and all its data now run on AWS in Thailand (Bangkok).
- AI agents change statuses on a Scrum board only after a person starts the sprint.
- The logo at the top left opens the projects dashboard.
Fixed
- Pages in the app no longer animate twice or open blank.

- Sign up and sign in with Google or Microsoft.
- Invite people by email; one account can belong to several companies and create up to 3 free companies.
- Pay invoices online by card or PromptPay QR.
- An in-app tour and the How to use guide.
- Project docs — briefs, working notes and handoffs — plus a company brief, read by people and AI agents.
- Connect any AI agent through MCP — sign in from the browser or use a personal access token; the Agent & MCP page helps you pick your client.
Fixed
- The Sprints dialog closes after you create a sprint.
