What is BoardMark?

BoardMark is a SaaS issue board for software companies, operated by I C Develop Company Limited in Bangkok, with three board types: Scrum, Kanban and Delivery pipeline. Every project, issue, comment and sprint is a Markdown (.md) file, AI agents work through MCP with exactly the rights of the user who connected them, and company admins control seats, permissions and billing. It is fully available in English and Thai.

Which board types are there?

Scrum: sprints, a drag-and-drop backlog planning page, story points and a burndown. Kanban: continuous flow that starts in a Backlog column, with optional WIP limits. Delivery pipeline: a Kanban board whose columns follow your environments — Testing and Passed for develop, UAT, production and so on — so you see where every issue is on its way to release.

What does md-first mean?

All work content lives as .md files in object storage — one issue is one file, with frontmatter validated by JSON Schema and a Markdown body. You write in a rich-text editor, but it is always saved as Markdown. The database is only an index that can be rebuilt from the files, and every change is recorded as a commit.

What can an AI agent do on the board?

An agent connects over MCP by signing in through your browser or with a personal access token, so it sees and edits only the projects you can access: search, create, update and transition issues, comment and reply, attach files, list your work across projects, read and update the project docs, and plan sprints within your role. On a Scrum board an agent moves only issues in a sprint a person has started, and it cannot start a sprint itself. Every agent change is recorded in the history: whose rights it used, which AI client (for example Claude Code) and which MCP tool.

Can an agent reach admin or billing?

No. MCP has no tools for users, teams, seats, permissions, billing, creating, deleting or moving projects to another company, deleting the company or an account, project settings and webhooks, or two-step sign-in and signed-in devices. Those stay in the web app, for the people whose role allows them.

Does BoardMark work with Claude Code and MCP?

Yes. BoardMark has a built-in MCP server (Streamable HTTP) that works with Claude Code and other MCP clients such as Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor and VS Code. Add it with one command or config entry and sign in through your browser, or use a personal access token for CI. 69 tools cover projects, issues, watching and votes, comments, attachments, sprints, releases, automatic summaries, Insights, quotations / billing notes / receipts, project docs, the .md files and support cases with the BoardMark team. Install in one click in Cursor and VS Code, or find BoardMark in the MCP marketplaces. Setup: the MCP page (/mcp).

Is there a guide I can give to my AI assistant?

Yes. Send https://www.boardmark.ai/agents.md to any AI assistant — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and others. It is one Markdown file that explains what BoardMark is, how to use it step by step, the rules, prices and the FAQ, so the assistant can walk you through BoardMark without any setup. If the assistant supports MCP, the same file shows it how to connect and work on your board directly. Thai version: https://www.boardmark.ai/th/agents.md.

Who operates BoardMark?

I C Develop Company Limited (Head Office), Tax ID 0105560011770, 524 Niamklamsamakkhi, Soi Prasertmanukit 29 sub 8, Prasertmanukit Rd., Chorakhebua, Ladprao, Bangkok 10230, Thailand. Phone +66 2 162 0801, email support@boardmark.ai.

Who enables seats and gives access to projects?

The company admin enables seats — a user can open the board only while their seat is enabled; suspended or deactivated seats have no access and are not billed. Project access is given to people or whole teams, as Project admin, Member or Viewer.

What is the difference between an individual and a company account?

An individual account belongs to one person and cannot invite anyone — it is for personal use, and it can be changed to a company account later (projects stay; this is one way). A juristic (company) account invites its team, creates teams and gives project access. Both start free right away.

Is BoardMark available in Thai?

Yes. The site and the apps are complete in both English and Thai, never mixed on one screen. Switch on any page and your choice is remembered. Notification emails carry both languages.

Which email notifications are sent?

When an issue is assigned to you, when an issue you are assigned to, reported or watch changes status or gets a new comment, when someone replies to your comment, when someone @mentions you, when a handoff is addressed to you or yours is acknowledged, and when someone gives you access to a project. Emails about other issue changes (description, priority, labels…) are off until you turn them on. Company admins get invoices, payment reminders and payment confirmations. You are never emailed about your own actions, and get at most one email per event.

Can I turn off email notifications?

Yes. Open Settings → Email notifications and switch each kind on or off — it applies to every company you belong to — or use the link at the bottom of an email to turn off that kind with one click (the added-to-a-project email included). Company invitations, invoices and payments, emails about a deleted project or company, account security emails, and legal notices from BoardMark when the Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy change are always sent. Service announcements (such as planned maintenance) can be turned off in Settings → Notifications → Service announcements (email only), or with the link at the bottom of an announcement email — then press the button on the page it opens.

Can I watch an issue or @mention a teammate?

Yes. Press Watch in the issue drawer (or w) to get emails when its status changes or a comment is added; commenting watches the issue for you. Type @ in a comment or an issue description to pick a project member, who then gets an email. AI agents can watch issues and mention people over MCP too.

How do I send a project to a teammate or an AI agent?

Click the project name at the top of its board to copy the project link (…/p/KEY, where KEY is the project key). A teammate with access to the project opens the same board from it, and an AI agent connected over MCP knows at once which project you mean.

Do I have to verify my email before using it?

No. You can sign in right after signing up. A verified email is needed only when you go beyond the free tier — and if you sign up with Google or Microsoft, your email already counts as verified.

Can I sign up with Google or Microsoft?

Yes. Press Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft on the signup or sign-in page (Microsoft work and personal accounts both work). Pick the account type first; you get it (individual, or a juristic company with its name) with a verified email at once. If that email already has an account, sign in with your password first and connect Google or Microsoft under Settings → Sign-in methods. You can add a password or disconnect a provider, as long as one sign-in method remains.

Can I sign in with LINE?

Yes, once you have linked it — LINE is not a way to sign up. Sign in as usual, open Settings → Sign-in methods and link LINE (one LINE account per BoardMark account); from then on Sign in with LINE works on the sign-in page, on every plan. A LINE account that is not linked is turned away with a message; no account is created. BoardMark asks LINE only for your LINE user ID and display name — never your email or password — and you can unlink LINE in the same place as long as another sign-in method remains.

Can I get notifications on LINE?

Yes, for companies on Premium. Link LINE in Settings → Sign-in methods and add the BoardMark LINE Official Account as a friend when LINE asks; then Settings → Notifications has a LINE column next to email, with the same kinds (assigned, status changes, comments, replies, @mentions, handoffs, added to a project and other changes), switched one by one. You get one LINE card per event, in English and Thai, with a link to the issue and a link to turn that kind off. LINE messages are sent only for events in Premium companies; invitations, billing and account emails stay email only. Replies in the LINE chat are not read — use the web app or Support.

Can I get notifications on Telegram and sign in with Telegram?

Yes. Link Telegram in Settings → Sign-in methods (one Telegram account per BoardMark account; you cannot sign up with it, and BoardMark never receives your phone number); from then on Sign in with Telegram works on every plan. Telegram notifications about work are part of Pro and Premium (not the free tier): switch each kind on or off in Settings → Notifications, with no per-message cost. Account security alerts reach you on every plan. If you ever blocked the bot, open it and press Start — your choices are kept.

Can I get notifications on my computer or phone?

Yes, on every plan. Open Settings → Notifications → Notifications on this device, press Turn on for this device and allow it when the browser asks. Notifications then pop up even when no BoardMark tab is open, and you switch each kind on or off in the Device column next to email. Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, up to 10 devices. On iPhone and iPad (iOS 16.4 or later), first Add to Home Screen from Safari and open BoardMark from that icon.

Can I turn on two-step sign-in?

Yes, on every plan. In Settings → Two-step sign-in, scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password, Authy, Bitwarden or any TOTP app), enter the 6-digit code and save your 10 recovery codes. From then on every way of signing in (password, Google, Microsoft, LINE) also asks for a code from the app; you can remember a device for 30 days. Lost your phone and your recovery codes? Ask for it to be turned off by email — it happens after a 24-hour wait you can cancel; no access to your email either? Contact Support, and the BoardMark team turns it off after someone confirms it is you (never at once). Security alerts also go to LINE and your devices. Settings → Devices signed in signs other devices out. AI agent tokens are not affected.

Can I use my own photo as my profile picture?

Yes, on every plan. In Settings → Change picture, upload a photo — it is cropped to a circle and made smaller in your browser, so EXIF and GPS details never leave your device — or use the picture of a linked Google or LINE account. Or build a cartoon (Flat or Soft 3D), or make one from a photo. One picture per account: every company you belong to sees it on cards, comments, mentions and the bell. People without one get a Soft 3D cartoon instead of initials.

Does my photo leave my device when I make a cartoon from it?

No. The face is read in your browser, on your device; the photo is never uploaded or kept — only the finished cartoon is saved. Uploading a photo is a separate choice: that photo is stored and served from a CDN under a link nobody can guess.

Can I send a project's activity to Slack or Microsoft Teams?

Yes, on every plan. Project admins and company admins add webhooks in Project settings → Integrations: Slack, Microsoft Teams (Workflows), Google Chat, Discord, or signed JSON to your own system — up to 5 per project, each with its own events (new issues, status changes, assignments, comments, other edits, deletions, sprints and releases) and English or Thai messages. Failed sends are retried for about 1.5 hours; a webhook failing for 3 days switches itself off and emails the admins; the delivery history keeps 30 days. Web app only — not over MCP.

Does BoardMark connect to GitHub or GitLab?

Yes, on Pro and Premium. A project admin adds a repository in Project settings → Integrations → Git repositories, then pastes the webhook URL and secret BoardMark gives into GitHub (github.com) or GitLab (GitLab.com or self-hosted over https). Put a card's key, such as BM-26, in a branch name, an MR/PR title or a commit message and the card shows the MR/PR, its state (open, draft, merged, closed), its CI result and the latest commits. You can also switch on rules that move cards, for example MR opened → In Review, merged → Dev Done. Rules are off until you turn them on, never move a card that is already done, never move it backwards, and the history names the actor as GitHub or GitLab. BoardMark posts no comment on merge. GitHub Enterprise Server is not supported (a one-click GitHub App is planned for release 2). More at /docs/integrations#git.

How is cycle time measured in Insights?

Cycle time runs from the first time a card enters an in-progress status to the latest time it enters done, in days, calendar time including weekends, shown as a median and a p85. It is computed from status-move history, not by AI, and all times are Asia/Bangkok. A card with no recorded entry into in progress (moved before 7 Oct 2026, or brought in by an import) is not counted in cycle time, though it still counts in lead time and throughput; the page always says “measured n of m cards”. Insights is a Premium feature. More at /docs/insights.

Can I change the columns of a board?

Yes, on Premium. A company admin or a project admin opens Project settings → Board columns on any board type — Scrum, Kanban or Delivery pipeline — to add, rename, reorder or delete columns and set each one's category (to do, in progress, done), colour, optional WIP limit and meaning (people and AI agents see it). Renaming keeps the issues and their history; deleting a column that holds issues moves them to a column you pick, with live progress. At least one done column must remain, and a Delivery pipeline's environment columns can be renamed and recoloured but are removed only with their environment. Cards still move to any column. After a downgrade to Pro the columns keep working but cannot be edited. Columns are edited in the web app only; AI agents see them but cannot change them.

Can I move my work from Jira?

Yes. When creating a project, a company admin picks Import from Jira: connect to Jira Cloud with your email and a read-only API token (used once, never stored) to bring issues, comments, history, sprints, links, attachments and images, or upload Jira CSV exports (data only, no attachments). Map each status to a column, match people and issue types, review and import. Issue numbers stay the same when you use the Jira key, and you can discard and re-import until the first change in the project.

Can issues have a priority?

Yes. Every issue has one of five priorities, like Jira: Highest, High, Medium, Low and Lowest — new issues get Medium unless you pick another. Set it when you create the issue or in the issue drawer; cards show a priority icon, and boards, the backlog and search filter and sort by it. AI agents set and search by priority over MCP too, and a Jira import maps priorities into the field.

Can I edit or delete a comment?

Yes. Authors can edit their own comments: an edited comment shows “(edited)”, which opens its edit history, and editing sends no extra email. The author or a project admin can delete a comment — “This comment was deleted” stays in its place, the replies remain, and the old text stays in the issue history.

Is there an audit log — can I see who changed what?

Yes. Issues, docs, settings pages and other saved items have an ⓘ button showing who created it and who changed it last, and when; content edits are in each item's own history, and a change made through an AI agent says which one — for example “via Claude Code”. Company admins also get an Audit log page in the admin console: sign-ins, tokens and agent connections, members, roles and teams, projects, billing, imports, deletions and AI agent requests BoardMark refused. Filter by person, category, date or how it was done (in the web app, through an AI agent, automatic (system) or BoardMark staff), export to CSV or JSON; entries are kept for 1 year.

Can I see whether a release is ready for production?

Yes. On any board type — Scrum, Kanban or Delivery pipeline — of a paid plan, switch Releases on in the project settings (off by default). A release groups features (epics — their issues follow them) with a production date and milestones. The Releases tab works out from the board, by rules you can read, whether it is Not ready, Ready with risks or Ready, shows each feature as Ready, On track, At risk or Blocked with the reason, a timeline and a release gate (automatic checks plus items people tick, with who and when). Everyone in the project sees the status; release managers and project admins also see the gate, scope changes against a baseline and a meeting summary, and mark the release as released. AI agents read releases and move issues in, but never approve one.

Where is my data stored?

In Thailand: BoardMark runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Asia Pacific (Thailand) region, Bangkok — the database (Amazon RDS), files (Amazon S3) and every service are in that region; the web pages and app files are delivered through Amazon CloudFront. All work content — projects, issues, comments, sprints and project docs — is stored as Markdown files in Amazon S3. Attachments are kept in the same storage and uploaded or downloaded through short-lived presigned links. The database is only an index rebuilt from those files, and every change is a commit with history. Only people with access to a project (and their agents) can read it.

Can I delete a project or my company?

Yes — people only, in the web app (AI agents and MCP cannot delete either). A project: a company admin or a project admin of that project opens Project settings → Danger zone and types the project key to confirm (not while an import from Jira is running); it is hidden from everyone at once. The company: a company admin opens the admin console → Danger zone · delete company and follows four steps — pay any unpaid invoices; close billing (a final invoice pro-rated from the 1st of the month to today, including extra storage, and the company becomes read-only; it can be cancelled until paid); pay the final invoice (with withholding tax, once the WHT certificate (50 ทวิ) is accepted); then type the company name to confirm. Every member loses access at once and gets an email. What was already used is not refunded.

Can I get my data back after deleting?

Yes, for 30 days. A project is restored from Recently deleted on the projects dashboard by a company admin or a project admin of it (on the free tier, only while that keeps you at 2 projects or fewer). A company is restored from Settings → Companies by a company admin, and seats are counted again from that day. Whoever can restore gets an email with a restore link, and a reminder 7 days before it is deleted for good. After 30 days it is gone for good — a company admin can also delete a project for good right away with Delete now, to reuse its key or free its storage: a project with its issues, comments, docs and attachments (its key is then free again); a company with every project, doc, attachment, member and team. Invoices, payments, tax documents and WHT certificates (50 ทวิ) are kept for 5 years, as the law requires. Backups roll off within 30 days. On Premium you can choose, when deleting a project, to keep its history: every md file with all versions and the change history (no attachments) as a .zip that company admins download from Admin → Archives of deleted projects; it counts as storage until an admin deletes it.

Can I delete my account?

Yes — only you, in the web app: Settings → Danger zone · delete account, confirmed with a 6-digit code sent to your email. Where you are a company's only admin, first make someone else admin or close that company's billing so it is archived with your account. Then choose Keep it for 1 year in case I come back (the default: you are signed out everywhere, agent tokens stop and the data is archived — sign up or sign in again with the same email within the year to restore it or start fresh; after a year it is deleted for good, with an email 30 days before) or Delete for good now (nothing can be restored; the same email can sign up again at once). Tax and payment records are kept 5 years, as the law requires. AI agents and MCP cannot delete accounts.

Can I move a project to another company?

Yes, in the web app, by the company admins of both companies. The project's company admin makes a transfer key in Project settings → Move to another company (valid 7 days, one use) and sends it to the other company's admin, who chooses Create project → Import from another company, enters the key and picks a new name and key. Once the source admin approves, the issues (same numbers under the new key), comments, sprints, project docs and attachments are copied; members, teams and agent tokens stay behind, and every issue arrives unassigned. The source project is read-only while it moves and can be deleted afterwards if you tick that box. AI agents cannot move projects.

Who can start a sprint, and can I open a project to the whole company?

In Project settings an admin sets Who can run sprints to Project admins (default) or All members. With All members, everyone in the project can create, start, complete and edit sprints; viewers never can, and AI agents cannot start a sprint. Company-wide access (Off / Everyone as member / Everyone as viewer) lets everyone in the company into a project without adding them one by one. A role set directly or through a team always wins, company admins remain project admins, and seats are unchanged.

How do I lower my bill or stop paying?

BoardMark is post-paid: you use it first and pay monthly for the days each seat was enabled, so there is no contract to cancel. A company admin can suspend or deactivate users who no longer need access at any time, and those seats are no longer billed; days already used are still invoiced. A Premium company can go back to Pro (from the next 00:00). On Pro the first 2 seats are always free, and a company within the free tier (up to 2 users, 2 projects and 10 GB) pays nothing and gets no invoice. Your work is plain Markdown that you or an agent can read out over MCP. To stop using BoardMark altogether, a company admin closes billing and deletes the company in the admin console → Danger zone; to leave on your own, delete your account in Settings → Danger zone · delete account.

Can I use BoardMark for sales or billing tracking?

Yes. When you create a project, pick the Sales & Billing template (every plan): one quotation or contract is one card in the columns Draft → Sent → Signed → In delivery → Billing → Closed (plus a grey Lost). Installments live inside the deal card — generate them from the payment terms (one-time, 50-50, 30-40-30), then record the billing date, invoice number, due date and payment of each one. BoardMark flags them from the dates — awaiting signature N days, bill due, due soon, overdue N days — and every morning at 08:00 reminds the deal's owner and watchers by bell, email, LINE (Premium) or device (the Deal finance switch). When everything is paid the card offers to close the deal. The list view has Overdue, Bill due and Awaiting signature filters and a totals row, and an AI agent can tell you which deals are unpaid. You can also issue quotations, billing notes and receipts as PDF from the card (every plan). e-Tax is not in this round.

Can BoardMark issue tax invoices?

No. BoardMark issues quotations, billing notes and receipts as PDF, in Thai and English, from a deal card in the Sales & Billing template (every plan) — but not tax invoices. Every receipt says “This is not a tax invoice”. A tax invoice has specific legal requirements, so issue it from your accounting system. Document numbers are automatic (QT-, BN-, RC- followed by the year and a sequence that restarts every year) and the letterhead comes from the company's tax profile. See /docs/sales-documents.

Can I add my own fields?

Yes. Every project can have custom fields of 9 types — text, number, money (currency per project), date, person, select, url, customer (suggests names already used) and formula (remaining = planned − actual, for example). Fields form their own group in the issue drawer and save at once; a card shows up to 2 of them; the list view adds columns, sorts and filters by field, and project admins save filters for the whole team. The fields a template brings (Sales & Billing, Service desk, Budget planning) work on every plan; adding, renaming or deleting fields yourself in Project settings → Fields is Premium, like board columns. AI agents read and write field values over MCP (with the same type checks as the web app) but cannot change the definitions.

Can I link work across projects or see one roadmap?

Yes. An issue's links (relates, blocks, duplicates, clones) take the key of an issue in another project of the same company, and the new delivers link points at a release of another project (id KEY/R-n). Press “Link to…” in the drawer, pick the project → search for the issue or release → the link type; the targets show live (status, or a release's state and progress) when you can open them. Whoever links must be able to open both projects, and nothing links across companies. For the big picture, create a project from the Roadmap & Goals template (every plan): one goal is one card, score it with RICE, link it to the teams' issues or releases and its progress rolls up by itself, with On track / At risk / Off track flags and a Timeline view that zooms by quarter, month or week and lets you drag bars to re-date. A deal in Sales & Billing can link to the development team's release the same way and show the delivery % on its card. Your AI agent can answer “which Q4 goals are off track?”.

Can my team post ideas and bugs like in a chat?

Yes. Pick the Feedback / Idea box template when you create a project (every plan): the post box sits at the top and a one-line title is enough. One post is one card, the comments are the thread, and the statuses are New → Reviewing → Accepted → Shipped or Declined (a reason is required). The poster is told when the status changes.

Can people vote on an idea?

Yes. In a project with votes on (the Feedback / Idea box template has them) members press the vote button on a card, one vote each, and press again to take it back. Filter by Top voted.

Pricing & billing

How much does BoardMark cost?

There are three plans: Free at ฿0 for a company with at most 2 users and 2 projects; Pro at ฿249 per seat per month, with the first 2 seats of every company always free; and Premium at ฿329 per seat per month for every seat. Prices exclude 7% VAT. Billing is post-paid, monthly, in Thai baht, for the days a seat is actually enabled.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. A company with at most 2 enabled users, at most 2 projects and up to 10 GB of files is on the free tier and gets no invoice. Before enabling a 3rd user, creating a 3rd project or going over 10 GB, verify your email and complete your tax profile — no card required. A coupon code from the BoardMark team adds free seats for a while.

What is the difference between Free, Pro and Premium?

The plan belongs to the company: everyone in it gets the same features. Free is a Pro company still within the free tier (at most 2 users, 2 projects and 10 GB of files) and gets no invoice. Pro has everything with no user or project limit, at ฿249 per seat from the 3rd seat. Premium has everything in Pro plus LINE notifications and custom board columns (add, rename, reorder and delete columns; category, WIP limit, colour and meaning), at ฿329 for every seat, with more features coming. Storage is priced the same on every plan, and two-step sign-in, notifications on your devices and webhooks come with every plan, Free included.

How is a plan change in the middle of the month billed?

An upgrade takes effect at once; a downgrade takes effect at the end of the day (00:00 Bangkok time). Enabled seats are counted every day together with that day's plan, so the month's invoice has a line per plan — for example Pro for 12 days and Premium for 18. The day of a change is billed at the higher plan, and the 2 free seats apply on Pro days only.

What happens when we go from Premium back to Pro?

It takes effect at the end of the day (00:00) and can be cancelled until then; everyone keeps Premium meanwhile. Afterwards LINE notifications stop (each person's settings are kept), and boards with custom columns keep working as they are, but their columns cannot be edited until you upgrade again. All your data stays.

Does Premium get the 2 free seats like Pro?

No. Premium bills every seat, even with 2 users or fewer. Free-seat coupons from the BoardMark team do apply to Premium days.

Can we try Premium for free first?

There is no trial, but billing is by the day: upgrade today and go back tomorrow, and you pay Premium only for the days you had it.

Who can change the plan, and how?

Only company admins, in the web app, on the plan card of the admin console; AI agents and MCP cannot change it. Upgrading to Premium needs a verified email and a complete tax profile first, even with 2 users or fewer or a coupon. Other members see which features are Premium and can press Ask your admin to upgrade (once every 24 hours per person), which emails and notifies the admins who receive plan and billing notices. Those admins get an email for every upgrade, scheduled downgrade, cancellation and completed downgrade.

What is a BoardMark coupon?

A coupon is a code from the BoardMark team, in the form XXXX-XXXX-XXXX, that gives your company extra free seats on top of the 2 that are always free, for a set time: a number of months from the day you redeem it, or until a fixed date. Meanwhile you can enable users up to the total free seats at no cost. Coupons give free seats only; the seat price stays the same. They work on Pro and Premium — on a Premium day, which has no 2 free seats, the free seats are the coupon's.

How do I redeem a coupon?

At signup, press Have a coupon code? on the signup form and type the code; a campaign link fills it in for you, and the code is checked as you type. After you sign up and sign in, the app opens a confirmation in the admin console: press Redeem coupon. Already signed up? A company admin types the code on the Coupon card of the admin console, under the billing estimate. Only company admins can redeem a code, and a wrong or unusable code never stops you from signing up.

What are the coupon rules?

Each code can be redeemed once, by one company. Every code has an expiry date: the last day it can be redeemed. A company holds one coupon at a time; a new code can be redeemed after the current one ends. Free seats are counted per day, so a coupon that ends mid-month is prorated to the day. While the coupon runs, enabling users up to 2 + the coupon's seats and creating more projects needs only a verified email; the tax profile can wait. Seats beyond that and storage above 10 GB follow the normal rules. Every company admin gets an email and an in-app notice when the coupon is redeemed, 7 days before it ends and on the day it ends.

What happens when my coupon ends?

Nothing is locked or made read-only: your users and projects stay. From the day after the coupon's last day, every seat above the 2 free ones costs ฿249 per seat per month (on Premium every seat, ฿329), excl. VAT, prorated per day, on the invoice of the 1st of next month. Complete the tax profile before it ends, or suspend users you no longer need if you do not want to pay more. From 7 days before the end, the admin console shows the estimate for after the coupon ends.

Is there a private, isolated option?

Yes. The Private plan is your company's own BoardMark: its database, file storage and every service are separate from other customers, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Thailand region, with Pro or Premium features, priced on your team size and requirements. Call the office on +66 2 162 0801 or mobile +66 85 027 1407, or email support@boardmark.ai.

Do you bill for the days actually used?

Yes. Enabled seats are counted every day (seat-days) and averaged over the month: on Pro, billable seats = max(0, total seat-days ÷ days in month − 2); on Premium every seat-day counts; rounded to 2 decimals.

Do AI agents count as seats?

No. An agent uses the rights of the user who connected it and costs nothing extra.

How is file storage billed?

Every company gets 10 GB of attachment storage free, on every plan. Free-tier companies are capped at 10 GB; once a company has left the free tier, the month's peak above 10 GB is rounded up to 10 GB blocks at ฿70 per block, up to a ceiling of 1 TB per company by default (it can be raised on request).

Can a juristic company withhold tax?

Yes. A juristic company with a complete tax profile can choose 3% withholding tax, deducted from the pre-VAT amount with any payment method, then upload the WHT certificate (50 ทวิ) as a PDF or image on the invoice page.

Which payment methods are supported?

Pay each invoice in the app by card (the card can be kept on file for next time) or PromptPay QR, or by bank transfer to the account printed on the invoice. Invoices are issued on the 1st of the following month and are due within 15 days.

How are invoices and tax invoices handled in Thailand?

Prices are in Thai baht plus 7% VAT. You get a PDF invoice for every month with a charge, and a PDF receipt / tax invoice in the Thai tax-invoice format once it is paid, issued by I C Develop Company Limited with your tax profile as the buyer. Download them from the invoice page; emails tell you when an invoice is issued and when it is paid.

What happens if an invoice is paid late?

Reminder emails go out before and after the due date. More than 30 days after the due date the company becomes read-only, and after 60 days it is suspended. Company admins can always open their invoices and pay.

How do I connect an AI agent to BoardMark?

Add BoardMark as an MCP server in your AI client (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor, VS Code and more), then sign in through your browser and choose the company — no token to copy. For CI or machines without a browser, create a personal access token in the app and send it as the header Authorization: Bearer <token>. Setup for each client is on the MCP page (/mcp), or let the agent read the connect.md guide and set itself up.

Can I install BoardMark from a marketplace or in one click?

Yes. The MCP page (/mcp) has one-click install buttons for Cursor and VS Code and the command for Claude Code, Codex and Gemini CLI. BoardMark is also listed on the Official MCP Registry (as ai.boardmark/boardmark), Smithery, Glama, mcp.so and GitHub (i-c-develop/boardmark). Every route connects to the same MCP server; you then sign in to BoardMark in your browser and the agent gets exactly your rights.

Can AI agents follow our team's own workflow?

Yes. BoardMark has defaults for what each status means (for example In Review = QA is testing, Dev Done = waiting to be deployed for QA, Test Rejected = QA failed it) and for which part of the flow each role — developer, QA, BA — moves. If your team works differently, write company rules in the company brief and project rules in the project's brief (admins only — working notes and comments, which every member writes, reach agents as information, never instructions). Agents always read those docs before they start and follow the most specific rule: the user's instruction > the project's docs > the company brief > the defaults. Your team writes its rules once, and every agent — Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or any MCP client — works within the same agreed frame, more accurately, instead of being told again in every chat. Details: /docs/boards.

Can an agent safely edit an issue someone else is editing?

Yes. Every write sends the version of the file it read. If someone changed it first, the server answers 409 version_conflict instead of overwriting, so agents should always call get_issue before update_issue.

How do I see what an agent changed?

Every change an agent makes over MCP is recorded in the issue or doc history: whose rights it used, which AI client (the name you approved when connecting with sign-in, or the name you gave a personal access token), OAuth or token, which MCP tool made the call (for example update_issue), and a request id tying together everything one call changed. Issue history shows it as “via Claude Code”; cards and attachments changed or uploaded by an agent carry a badge, and the Agent & MCP page lists your agents' recent commits. Company admins can filter the Audit log to what was done through an AI agent, and requests BoardMark refused (no permission, or a rule) appear as “An AI agent was refused”.

Is there a rate limit?

Yes — 600 requests per minute per token by default.

What is an agent account, and how is it different from a personal token?

An agent account (Premium) is an AI agent with its own name and one accountable owner. It has exactly the owner's rights, is not a seat, and can be assigned work and @mentioned. Create it in Company settings → Agents, then connect with a token shown once or choose “Connect as agent” during OAuth. Free and Pro keep personal tokens as they are.

Can I see what an agent did and why, and can I stop it?

Yes. The agent's Runs page lists every call with the reason the agent sent with each write. The owner or a company admin pauses one agent or all of them at once; the agent gets agent_paused and resumes with the same token when you press Resume.

Does an agent account have a quota or cost extra?

There is no daily quota — only a per-minute rate limit (600 calls a minute per token). Over it the agent gets rate_limited and waits. Admins see writes per day for information; it is never a reason to pay more.

What are automatic summaries, and does AI write them?

Automatic summaries (Premium) are reports BoardMark sends your team by itself: a daily standup, a sprint review when a sprint is closed, a release review when a release is shipped, and a weekly or monthly executive report, by email, LINE, Telegram and bell, always in Thai and English, in an Agent account's name. They are worked out from board data — no AI writes them and nothing goes to an outside AI. Recipients see only the projects they can open. Set them up in Project settings → Automatic summaries.

Can I stop an AI agent from doing QA's job?

BoardMark warns it; it does not block. Every column has a lane — the role that works in that status (In Review = QA, for example) — and an agent gets a role on its token or on the approve screen when it connects. If a Developer agent moves In Review → Done, or skips the QA step, the move still happens but the agent gets a warning to stop, tell the user and hand off with a comment. Issue history shows the agent's role and a ⚠ on moves outside its lane. People are never warned or blocked.
