Automatic summaries

BoardMark automatic summaries (Premium): daily standup, sprint and release reviews and an executive report by email, LINE, Telegram and bell, from board data, not AI.

What are automatic summaries?

BoardMark sends your team short reports by itself, on the schedule you set. Everything in them is worked out from the data on the board (cards moved, finished, overdue, sprints, releases). No AI or LLM writes them and nothing is sent to an outside AI. Available to Premium companies only.

KindWhen it is sentWhat it contains
Daily standupOn the days you choose (default Monday–Friday) at the time you choose, 07:00–11:00 (default 09:00 Thailand time). It covers the time since the last one; Monday covers since FridayPer person who moved something: finished, started, status changes; stuck cards (an in-progress card unmoved for your number of working days, default 3); overdue; open critical / high bugs; Scrum: sprint day x of y with points done / left; Kanban and pipeline: throughput and WIP against the limit
Sprint reviewWhen a sprint is closed (Scrum)What was committed against what finished (points and count), the finished items, what carried over, what was added or removed mid-sprint, the burndown and the velocity of the last 3 sprints
Release reviewWhen a release becomes shippedThe same numbers for that release: features delivered, features that missed it, and the state at shipping
Executive reportWeekly (Monday 08:00) and / or monthly (the 1st, 08:00)Company level, per project: health (on track / at risk / off track), throughput against the previous period, critical / high bugs, overdue; releases shipped; Roadmap & Goals goals; overdue and collected amounts (Sales & Billing); cases past SLA (Service desk); the share of writes made by agents

On a day when nothing changed no standup is sent (you can turn the empty one on), and a standup lists only people who did something — there is no list of people who did not.

How do I set it up?

  • Per project: Project settings → Automatic summaries (project admins) — switch the standup and the reviews on or off, set the time, the days, the recipients (all members or chosen people), the channels (email, LINE, bell) and the sender
  • Per company: Company settings → Executive report (company admins) — pick the period, the projects to include, the recipients (default every company admin) and the sender
  • Every page has Preview and Send a test to me, so you see a real report before turning it on
  • Settings are in the web app only

Who sends them?

Reports go out in an agent account's name. Pick one of the company's active agents, or press “Create Reporter” to make an agent called Reporter in one click, with you as its owner. In email the sender reads “<agent name> · BoardMark”; the bell and LINE show the agent's icon. Every report sent appears in the agent's run log and does not count as a write.

If that agent is paused or suspended, the reports that use it stop, and its owner (or a company admin if the owner has left) gets one bell notice.

See the Agent accounts page for how agents work.

Where are they delivered, and who sees what?

  • Email, LINE, Telegram and the in-app bell (device push follows the bell). LINE works when the company is Premium and Telegram when it is a paid company (Pro or Premium); summaries themselves are Premium, and the recipient must have linked LINE or Telegram
  • Always in Thai and English: the email has a Thai block and an English block, LINE is a card with a Thai and an English heading and an “Open report” button, Telegram is one two-language message with the same button, and the bell follows the app language
  • Long lists are cut at 20 items, followed by “and n more”
  • Each person sees only the projects they can open at the moment of sending. An executive report is built separately for every recipient and drops the projects they cannot open. Recipients must be enabled members of the company
  • Everyone can switch each kind off per channel in their own notification switches (standup, review, executive)

Can I read past reports?

Yes. Every report sent is kept for 1 year (the numbers, the period, the sender, the recipients). Open one from the link in the report or from the list of reports in a project or the company. Everyone opens only the reports they are allowed to see.

What happens if we downgrade to Pro?

Reports stop, but the settings and the archived reports stay. When the company is Premium again they resume by themselves.

For AI agents: reading a summary

  • list_summaries lists the reports already sent; then get_summary returns one — the latest if you ask for it — as markdown, the same data the team received
  • Both tools are read-only, and an agent sees only the projects its rights allow
  • The numbers are worked out from the board data: report them as returned, do not guess more

The guide for AI agents is agents.md, and connecting is covered on the AI agents · MCP page.
